They are seeking a graduate to join their accounting and finance team, with the position well suited to a university graduate with an accounting or finance related degree looking to build their career with an industry leader.

This position will develop your skills in a range of financial accounting matters relating to the operation of the company and within regulations across Australia and their other locations. You will gain an understanding of the accounting practices within the insurance industry and an international firm, and develop your skills across the board, with a great team providing mentorship and support, ensuring you get your career started on the right track!

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Preparation of ledger entries relating to premiums, claims, expenses, accruals, cash
- Preparation of quarterly Tax BAS reporting to the ATO
- Processing of monthly employee and supplier payments
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of internal reports
- Assist Finance team with allocation of premiums collections by handling queries
- Preparation of credit control reports giving updates on collections
- Build strong working relationships to ensure smooth communication between the Australia, Singapore, and London offices.
We are looking for someone with:
- Who has completed studies in Commerce, Business, or Finance
- Previous work experience in any of the above industries highly considered
- A motivated attitude who is keen to develop their career over the long term
- Enjoy being part of a team and contributing to a positive culture
- Experience in accounts receivable and payable, reconciliations and cash accounting valuable
- Ability to work in a team, learning from a team of experienced insurance professionals
- Ability to learn quickly, problem solve and a passion for learning and training
