Graduate Engineer

Melco is a world class engineering, construction, and maintenance organisation with operations in the Mackay region and Bowen Basin region of Queensland. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Engineer to join our Bowen team.  

This role will require the successful applicant to play a critical role in all facets of the project management process, including tendering and estimating, material take off’s, scheduling, quality management and reporting.

Skills and qualifications:

• Degree qualification in mechanical or structural engineering
• Have a highly committed and motivated attitude with the drive to be an integral member         of a winning team
• Able to work with minimal supervision 
• Ability to read fabrication drawings
• Exceptional communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office suite including MS Project experience 
• Prioritisation to meet set deadlines
• Intermediate CAD competency

Desirable skills and qualifications:

•    Understanding of job costing and project management
