About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of a Project Engineer to join our esteemed client's team, based in Jandowae. This position is a permanent opportunity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality assurance plans, procedures, and processes for infrastructure projects.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Identify and address quality issues and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Review and approve construction materials, methods, and procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on quality-related matters to project teams and stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in quality management processes.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on quality assurance preferred.
Strong knowledge of quality management principles, practices, and techniques.
Experience developing and implementing quality assurance plans and processes for infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Valid Driver's license
