About the Role

We are currently seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to assist with various mechanical design/engineering projects that we undertake for our clients, who are involved in heavy industry, mining, and civil construction.

Over time the role will expand to involve additional design work as well as offsite inspections.

Based from our Brand New Manufacturing & Service Facility in Mackay QLD.

Key Duties

• Assist with the design and development of bespoke products for our clients
• Creation of 3D CAD models using Solidworks
• Creation of detailed fabrication and machining drawings for both internal and external use
• Creation of concept drawings for clients
• Creation of hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical schematics/wiring diagrams
• Creation of parts overview drawings and manuals
• Assisting with the creation of technical documents and manuals related to company products
• Assisting with material and component selection during product design
• Operation of our 3D Scanner On-site and Local customers.

The key team member we are looking for needs to have:

• A Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical
• A current drivers licence
• Great interpersonal skills
• The ability to multitask
• Excellent computer skills; and
• A great attitude
