Job DescriptionAbout the Role
As a Graduate Engineer, you will provide engineering project management support for the tender and delivery of projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable standards, drawings, and specifications.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Estimating project duration and resource requirements.
- Estimating project costs associated with materials and execution.
- Reviewing IFC documentation including P&ID and isometric drawings.
- Identifying potential technical or constructability concerns.
- Preparing and managing RFI and TQ requests.
- Developing and optimising project construction schedules.
- Developing and managing project documentation including MDRs.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identifying and raising opportunities for continuous improvement in GEC Project Engineering process and tools.
To be successful in this role, you must hold the following traits, skills, and qualifications:
- Last year or 1 – 2 years’ postgrad in a Bachelor’s degree of Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
- Must have eligible Australian working rights
- Must have a current driver’s licence
- Strong work ethic
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management and organisational skill
- Critical thinking
- Problem solving skills
- Resilience and humility
- Undergraduate Engineering studies experience
- Corporate work experience (desired)
Note: Option for the role to be Part-Time depending on study schedule
