Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is responsible for simplifying complex messages across a variety of stakeholders to make them impactful -  just like out of home advertising!  You will be translating OMA’s marketing objectives into creative and compelling digital designs.
A significant part of your time will be spent developing campaigns, driving brand alignment and delivering social media posts as well as industry presentations.  You’ll manage this workflow within agreed timeframes and with ease and grace, effectively communicating the benefits of our industry. Along the way you’ll also be doing some periodic (e.g. board reports) and ad hoc design (e.g. for a pitch or event), as well as designing and developing marketing collateral, always with the integrity of the brand in mind.
You will work closely with the senior management team, marketing team to streamline design processes and final production.  You will be the guardian of OMA’s brand and style guides and ensure all design work is aligned with the brands integrity in mind.  Equally, you’ll ensure all design platforms are set up efficiently for transparent collaboration.

The OMA is an incorporated, not-for-profit industry body that currently represents close to 100 per cent of the Out of Home industry.
We are a small dynamic team of specialists who work together to provide audience measurement, marketing, policy, government relations and other services to our members.
Our core values are that we are: ‘Spirited and Smart with Humour and Heart’. We like to live these values. We do things in a way that brings these values to life (instead of putting them on posters on the walls).
Members of the OMA include the major outdoor advertising companies companies like JCDecaux, oOh!media and QMS Media, as well as a series of members who provide support services to our members and members who own some of the major assets like Transport for NSW and Telstra.
Sitting alongside the OMA is MOVE (Measurement of Outdoor Visibility and Exposure), the Audience Measurement System used by the OMA members. MOVE is a separate entity but shares the CEO, staff and offices with the OMA.
ABOUT YOU
Tertiary qualifications in graphic design or equivalent industry experience
Be expert in Mac, Adobe Creative Suite (exceptional skills InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
Minimum 2-3 years experience with:
Design for social media (Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn & X)
Design for email and online advertising communications
Design for events (Digital assets, Menus, Signage, Printed Collateral)
Experience in design, concepting and printing for merchandise
Experience managing multiple brands 
Strong attention to detail with file management
Experience in multitasking, managing deadlines and competing priorities
Desirable - basic animation and video editing skills 
You are comfortable working autonomous and within a team and be able to communicate effectively; willing to contribute original ideas/concepts, take direction and able to give and receive constructive feedback
You are organised with the ability manage multiple briefs, numerous assignments, work under pressure and flexibility to prioritise your own deadlines – and importantly, demonstrated ability to ask for help and direction when required
Impeccable attention to detail and a strong eye for aesthetic composition
A positive attitude and above all have passion and pride for the work you produce
