Graphic Designer

Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Hybrid)

About the role:

• Development of all marketing and promotional materials (i.e. advertisements, digital assets, brochures, displays, point of sale materials, packaging, flyers, corporate materials).
• Responsible for conceptual development of creative resources in line with marketing and brand strategies.
• Prepare artwork files for in-house printing and/or external printers or publishers as required.
• Consult with the marketing team to ensure clear understanding of project needs and a unified look and feel of corporate brands.
• Photoshop image development.
• Updating existing files with new content and generating files for different applications.
• Interpreting print specifications and ensuring that the working files match the specifications.

Skills and experience:

Required

• 2+ years’ experience as a Graphic Designer.
• Deep experience with Adobe Creative Suite (i.e.: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
• Knowledge of InDesign style sheets and print production.
• Strong knowledge of digital asset requirements.
• Photography and video editing experience.

Preferred

• Completion of two years of post-secondary education in a relevant discipline
• Packaging experience is an asset.
• Experience in the natural health industry an asset.
• Working knowledge of InCopy preferred.
• Comfortable with Mac operating system.
• Strong written communication and ability to interpret technical feedback and written edits.
• Web design experience an asset.
