Graphic Designer

Why are we hiring? We recently invested in a new fleet of industrial presses, have grown 30% over the past year, our clients love what we do and want more of it. So we need some extra hands. It is a varied role across design, pre-press and online. 

To be successful, you must be self-motivated; enjoy your work, be able to operate as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail. We want someone with a great attitude and amazing design skills that we can turn into beautiful printed products. Other facets will include; pre-press duties, proofing supplied artwork, updating web to print portal, mailing campaigns and promotional product design renders.

Required skills:

·      Proficient in Design, degree quailed.

·      Minimum 18mths experience in Print and Sign Company

·      Preparation of files for Printing

·      Preparation of files for Sign making

·      Preparation of files for Packaging

·      Designing keylines for custom signs/packaging

·      Proficient in FreeFlow Core workflow Software

·      Proficient in PrintIQ MIS & Proofing Software

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Designing from Concept
• Developing Narrative around creative
• Developing design and function for products
• UX Design for ecommerce site and client branding sites
• Amendments to supplied art files
• Digital Lite preparation for print
• Imposing jobs, troubleshooting 
• General pre-press duties
• Developing design from briefs
• Ensuring graphic design and content meet quality and technical standards
• Speaking with customers and taking instructions.
• Administrative tasks
• Liaising with production on jobs

Must be based in Brisbane.

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
• Working rights required for this role
• Expected salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
