Graphic Designer - Nsw Health

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated graphic designer with minimum one to three years experience to join the The Cancer Institute NSW. The NSW Government’s cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer in NSW. Be part of delivering challenging and rewarding projects.

The key responsibilities include:

• Design and produce engaging and effective digital and traditional media and marketing materials, aligned with the Institute’s brand guidelines and statutory requirements to ensure brand integrity and consistency.
• Liaise with clients, and editorial and other staff with the communications team and manage day to day design job requests that have been logged or requested.
• Document the end to end design work, client approvals, and arrange quotes in accordance with the internal records management, work flow and procurement systems.
• Undertake end-to-end design management for a range of projects to deliver materials aligned to a design brief and brand messaging.
• Manage and deliver the design, layout and production of internal and external publications, imagery and infographics, communicating complex information in a way that ensures it is easily understood and consumed across all media channels and formats

Essential requirements

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in graphic design or demonstrated relevant professional experience and training.
• Demonstrated graphic design communications team in a corporate organisation or government organisation or design studio.
• High-level skills and experience in Adobe Creative Suite essential. Understanding of, and experience in, corporate branding, layout, colour theory and typography in both print and digital media.
