About the Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join the team at our residential aged care service in North Tamborine, in the Gold Coast Hinterland. This is a truly unique service, with a pristine hinterland location and plenty of greenspace to surrounding the site. You will enjoy working on a permanent part-time basis, 60 hours a fortnight, Monday to Friday (no weekends or public holidays!!) the general maintenance (painting, basic repairs, deep cleaning and preventative maintenance) for the site and residents, and tending to the grounds.
This is a true hands-on job, with plenty of role variety and autonomy.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in general Grounds and Maintenance tasks including lawn care, gardening and general fittings and fixture maintenance
- General handy-person abilities
- Understanding workplace health and safety requirements
- Current acceptable NDIS Worker Clearance card, completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation module and a manual Drivers Licence
- A willingness and ability to drive to and from site, located in North Tamborine, at the top of Tamborine mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterland
