About The Opportunity
Programmed’s Property Services department is currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Grounds Maintenance Operatorto join our team. This is an opportunity to be part of an excellent team that provides Grounds Maintenance and development across our client site. Working in Darwin at a well-known private school, you will be responsible for the overall upkeep and improvement of the grounds and gardens.
Nature of position: Full-Time
Location: Darwin
Reporting line: Branch Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Routine mowing and turf maintenance
- Pruning and shaping across the grounds
- Ensure the sites are always maintained and presented at a high standard
- Routine rubbish and leaf removal across the sites
- Ensure compliance of all occupational health and safety processes and procedures
About You
Ideally, we are looking for a Qualified Horticultural Tradesperson to complement our team, with a passion to provide quality work. Additionally, you will have
- Qualification or experience in horticultural parks and gardens, gardening and landscaping
- Current driver's license & white card
- Current working with children’s check
- Be able to follow instructions and work without direct supervision
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer knowledge
- Execute work that is of a high standard
- A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety management systems.
