About your new role
  
This is a newly created role and has been created due to company growth, reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working in a Finance Team of team of seven.
  
Your new role will involve assisting the Finance Manager with supervising the daily tasks of the Junior Finance Team members including;

• Daily supervision of junior accounting staff (five team members)
• Managing the month end accounting process
• Preparation of consolidated financial statements
• Assisting with the preparation and reporting of monthly board packs
• Providing reports and analysis as required with reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes
• Preparation and lodgement of monthly corporate taxes including quarterly business activity statements (BAS), Income tax, corporate taxes
• Liaising with external Auditors
• Partnering with the business internal stakeholders to support other financial related processes or initiatives

About you

• Qualified Accountant CA/CPA preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience within a public practice accounting firm essential
• Experience using ERP system
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Strong excel and data analysis skills
• High attention to detail to maintain high standard of accuracy and integrity in all reports
• The ability to form strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
