The Role
Exciting career development position for an experienced Group Accountant with tested skills in accounting consolidations of group trading entities and reporting.
ASX listed environment where deadlines are fixed, high performing team and excellent quality of peers and accounting leadership are moving, progressing and developing their staff as finance leaders of the future.
Core aspects of the position will include:
Responsibility for month end reporting, quarterly financials and year end consolidated results
Lead on audit in support of the FC
Personal responsibility for risk, governance and compliance and associated policy updates
Application of accounting standards e.g. IFRS and AASB
Team lead and leading by example for the junior accountants
Your prior experience, training and knowledge will have come from a large diverse entity with multiple trading businesses under a Group function for reporting. This will cover both budgets and forecasts and then compliance for reporting across the Group.

Your Profile
You are an experienced Group Accountant with prior experience in consolidating financial results across a Group of businesses looking for a step up into a 2IC to FC position.
