Management Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting)

$110k - $130k p.a. + Parking and Public Transport

This Group Accountant will work closely with the CFO in the head office and assist with the team management of 6 within the shared services team. A true growth role for someone looking to learn and grow the career out with continued growth opportunities internally.
The ideal candidate will have a CA/CPA qualification and have a strong foundation in commercial accounting.
Responsibilities:

• Manage the month end reporting and budgeting.
• Assist with financial reports and analysis of key data.
• Over see transactional team of 6.
• Eye for detail and a good problem solver to manage risk and missing data.
• Oversee creditor invoices and ensure a high level of accuracy.
• Banking and BAS duties as required.
• Assist with HR duties and contract on an ad hoc basis.
• Work through client contracts to ensure targets and financials are met.

Experience:

• 3-6 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Experience within the construction and building space is an advantage but not essential.
• CA/CPA qualification is a MUST HAVE to be short listed.
• Ability to oversee a team in the transactional space.
• Ambition to grow and learn on the job is key.

The position will include a car park at the office and is also located 500m from the train station.
