Minda’s Residential and Commercial Property Services is embarking on an exciting new phase of master planning and development, with a vision to create a world class inclusive community at North Brighton.
The Opportunity:
Our entry into a growth phase has led to a newly created role for a Group Manager, Commercial Property & Housing, to work under broad direction, providing leadership and oversight across Minda’s residential and Commercial Property portfolios. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Senior Manager, with the role set to grow and diversify as the business expands.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Infrastructure Services, the Group ManagerCommercial Property & Housing, will work under broad direction and do the following:
Provide hands on oversight of tenancy management across all commercial and residential properties.
Lead a team of property professionals in the delivery of day-to-day operations.
Develop and refine Commercial Property management processes and drive improvement across all areas of property management.
Identify and develop third party commercial revenue opportunities.
Oversee the management of rent arrears, and property management records and systems.
Oversee the management of incoming, transferring and exiting tenant processes.
Support the coordination of reporting.
Essential Requirements:
Demonstrated leadership experience in commercial and housing property environments.
Understanding of commercial and residential tenancy legislation and management practices.
Demonstrated commercial acumen, with understanding of commercial and residential property markets, and proven ability to identify and leverage opportunities for growth.
Skilled in the use of general IT, databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working under broad direction, and with a high level of autonomy.
Sound communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong decision-making capabilities, and effective organisational and time management skills.
Desirable:
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Property Management or related.
Sound understanding and experience in Commercial property management.
Other:
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Current and unrestricted South Australian Driver’s Licence.
Evidence of full vaccination against Covid-19 (2+ booster)
