The Role
Based in our head office in Perth and reporting to the General Manager- Finance, the Group Manager, FP&A, will play a pivotal role in leading the financial forecasting, annual budgeting and Board and C-suite reporting of the Group. The role will involve elevating the current FP&A function through a focus on process improvement, strong leadership and relationship management and will require a results-driven mindset to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
In this role you will:
Manage the Group financial forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
Provide ongoing analysis of actual performance against budget/forecast and support various scenario analysis.
Oversee the preparation of Group management reports for the Board and C-Suite, offering comprehensive business performance insights.
Drive new FP&A reporting software implementation, process improvements and strategy implementation and ensure aligned with business objectives.
Mentor and coach, the Group FP&A team while collaborating with business CEOs and Finance leads both in Australia and internationally.
Skills you’ll bring:
CA or CPA qualification with a tertiary qualification in Finance or related field.
Over 12 years of progressive experience in Finance roles and specifically experience leading a group FP&A function within a public company.
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving strategic commercial outcomes.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in BI, reporting, and analytics tools.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with problem-solving abilities.
Very strong people management and mentoring skills
Desirable: Knowledge of SAP by design and Anaplan, systems integration experience.
