Freeway Motor Group is a family-owned and -operated multi-franchise automotive dealer group. Our principal locations are in Cranbourne, Frankston, Mornington and Lilydale, with an exciting pipeline for growth.
We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic marketing professional to join our team; overseeing a digital first marketing strategy for 6 exciting automotive brands, a dedicated used car yard, and an aftermarket 4x4 accessories franchise.
Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B or automotive retail sales, bringing their own flair to the role through energetically engaging with our teams at all levels of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide marketing support to the Group, assisting in the execution of brand campaigns, sale events, and new vehicle launches.
- Work collaboratively with the management teams at each location to ensure marketing activities achieve organisational goals.
- Develop and manage all marketing campaigns, including visual content creation, copywriting, and distribution via channels such as Google (adwords, display), native display, EDM, social media, and more.
- Develop positive, collaborative relationships with each of our OEM brand marketing teams, ensuring no opportunity is missed.
- Manage the Group’s relationship with our web developer teams, ensuring all websites are optimised.
- Oversea social media activity, with a key focus of encouraging dealership staff participation in, and contributions to, organic content.
- Coordinate key events in close partnership with key stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following key ingredients:
- Tertiary qualified in a communication or marketing discipline.
- A minimum 3 years in a marketing role in automotive retail or B2B environment.
- Excellent communication skills along with an ability to manage multiple relationships efficiently is required.
- Ability to grasp brand language, tone, look, and feel for multiple OEMs; each brand must be confident that its interests are being accurately and appropriately represented.
- Strong project skills, from planning and execution stages through to reporting and evaluation.
- Innovative, creative, a quick learner, with the ability to work autonomously.
- A keen eye for analytics, with an understanding of the new Google Analytics 4 platform, plus an understanding of SEO.
- Experience in photography, videography, and using design software.
