The Group Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Group Finance Manager and work closely with all finance teams across the Group. The successful candidate will be an experienced Senior Financial Analyst who knows what a best in class financial reporting function requires
The role will be based in Sydney
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Group month-end reporting timeline and month-end process including reporting requirements from all regions across the Group.
- Preparation of monthly reporting for Group Management Accounts for the executive committee.
- Provide analysis and supports for movements within PnL and BS and has a strong understanding of the risks and opportunities across all GLAs.
- Monthly reconciliation between Group Management Accounts and Statutory Accounts.
- Preparation and understanding of the monthly Group Cash flow statement and provide assistance for regional Cash flow statement.
- Preparation of monthly bank reporting and maintaining our documentation up to date.
- Bachelors in accounting or Business/Commerce degree.
- Holder of Chartered Accountancy or Certified Practicing Accountants
- Ability to interpret Accounting Standards and GAAP and apply to the operations of the Group.
- Proficient with foreign exchange movements and analysis.
- Has a strong business acumen that can understand business operations and apply financial impact and accounting framework on the work they do.
- Effective communicator with internal and external stakeholders.
- Big 4 experience would be beneficial.
