The Growth Manager is a key role in the marketing team at Go-To. Reporting to the CMO, you will ensure we have a best-in-class, innovative Growth Marketing strategy that will disrupt and delight the target markets, driving sales growth and customer acquisition and retention in alignment with Group strategies.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Cross Department Collaboration

  • Manage and coach the Performance Marketing Lead.
  • Create the Growth Marketing strategic pillar, defining the acquisition and retention strategy in line with business goals and lead team in pacing delivery.
  • Ensure effective collaboration across departments including ecommerce, design, marketing, product and customer service in addition to nurturing strong relationships with external agencies and partners.

Acquisition: Performance Marketing Strategy, Investment & ROI

  • To identify opportunities for digital campaign innovation that will surprise and delight the market, drive sales growth and engage new and existing customer markets.
  • Implement a focused customer acquisition plan and customer engagement and retention strategy.
  • Define channel strategy across all markets forecasting revenue potential and adapting investment approach in line with growth opportunities.
  • Analyse market trends and customer insights to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Running campaigns and testing new channels in a methodical and iterative manner.
  • To effectively manage the digital marketing budget and provide insight into forecasted sales revenue as a result.
  • Support Performance Marketing Lead in management of Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & Pinterest),Google Ads, Programmatic display, & others as applicable, and working with agency partners.

Retention: CRM + Loyalty strategy

  • Together with the Brand Manager, manage the Go-To loyalty program that fosters repeat purchase and cross-category adoption of NPD.
  • Work closely with the Ecommerce manager to bring the loyalty program to life on the website, implementing strategies to maximise ROI and customer lifetime value.
  • Own customer retention, database and email revenue goals and targets to drive growth.
  • Define and execute the CRM strategy to manage the end-to-end customer lifecycle to maximise retention and profitability.
  • Dive deep into customer data to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities for personalised marketing campaigns.
  • Establish a testing framework for email campaigns to inform Creative departments content approach.

Innovation and technology champion

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and adapt strategies to capitalise on emerging marketing technologies and platforms.
  • Maintain high levels of up-to-date knowledge of strategies and opportunities in paid media (attribution, best practices, betas, ad network updates, innovation opportunities, etc.)

Digital Analytics

  • Leverage data analytics to track campaign performance and optimise strategies.
  • Diligently monitor the performance and continuously optimize to grow sales while hitting efficiency goals.
  • Provide insights to help the full marketing team improve efforts, including messages that drive engagement and sales, the impact of promotions, and similar analysis.
  • Conduct market research of other e-commerce and competitor marketing best practices.
  • Review the customer funnel and consistently drive projects to optimize sales performance.

About You, you will have…

  • 6+ years of experience in managing PPC / search and paid social media campaigns, preferably on ecommerce-led brands.
  • Experience leading a small team and managing multiple agencies/partners
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics (CPC, CTR, CPM, CPA, ROAS, CVR)
  • Experience with retention marketing: CRM, email marketing and loyalty programs.
  • Digital Performance Marketing skills honed to drive acquisition and revenue.
  • Able to take an optimistic view and to work at a fast pace, embracing that done is better than perfect.
  • Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to negotiate and deliver convincing messages to manage buy in.
  • Highly analytical and able to understand and present data.
  • Effective coaching style with the solid ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Knowledge of digital ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and Pinterest essential)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Google sheets.
  • Proficient using data visualisation tools such as Looker and Motion.
  • Advanced GA4 knowledge.
  • Experience using Shopify, Klaviyo and Yotpo (or other loyalty platform)
  • Digital Marketing and/or relevant Digital Technology tertiary qualification and/or related work experience.
  • Google Certifications (Analytics).

This is a full-time role and based in our Sydney office. (Flexible WFH policy, obviously. It’s 2024.)
