Job Description
Are you seeking the next step of your guest service career? Do you want to have the independence to make Sofitel Adelaide, the newest addition to the luxury landscape in Adelaide, your playground? What you will be doing:
  • Looking after Sofitel guests at every step of their journey, with a strong focus on VIP guests, ALL members and Club Millesime guests.
  • Ensuring Guest Experience equates with what they expect from a Sofitel Brand and a Luxury Hotel.
  • Creating the ultimate personalised service for Sofitel guests, while providing a communication link to the hotel executive management.
  • Responsible for guest feedback platforms, making this our most meaningful tool to elevate Sofitel magnifique guest journey.
  • Driving hotel reputation scores by supporting Ambassadors with brand awareness and ongoing service improvement.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
  • You are a well organised, guest-obsessed natural leader
  • Prior experience as a Front Office Manager, Executive Club Manager or a Guest Experience/Relations Manager, in a luxury setting is essential
  • Your infections and positive personality make you an expert in the art of serving guests, but you are equipped to stay composed under pressure
  • You create genuine and positive relationships
  • You are a networker and natural sales person with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Windows, Opera or similar PMS. HotSOS experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, non-verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of another language preferred
  • Excellent personal presentation, taking pride in your appearance
  • You are highly organised, with the ability to manage effectively between tasks
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to motivate self and Hotel Ambassadors to achieve goals, respond to guest requests and business volume quickly and efficiently.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Peron badge essential
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR, desirable
