Summary:
We are seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, allocating room blocks, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The Guest Service Agent will be the first point of contact for guests, handling phone inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.
Responsibilities:
- Confirming guests booking and allocating their rooms
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are clean and well-maintained prior to arrival
- Assist with the planning and execution of events and conferences hosted at the hotel
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service calls and problem solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
