Located in the city centre of Melbourne, Clarion Suites Gateway is an all-suites four-star hotel under the international Clarion brand of Choice Hotels Asia–Pac, with over 170 hotels nationally.
We are currently seeking a passionate Receptionist / Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office Team on a full-time basis, with great opportunities for progression to build a career in the Hotel industry.
Main Responsibility:
To ensure Guest Service is of the highest standards, always displaying a professional, competent attitude and commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
About the Role:
- Greet and welcome all guests.
- Guest registration to include check-in/out.
- Cashiering to include foreign exchange and balancing daily transactions.
- Handle guest queries.
- Liaise closely with all departments in the hotel, particularly housekeeping and maintenance
- Dealing with reservation enquiries and group tours
About You:
Previous front office experience in a hotel environment would be looked at favourably, although not a necessity.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Friendly, personable, and outgoing personality and enjoys engaging with guests
- Committed to providing superior customer service.
- Ability to work shift work including weekends and public holidays.
