The resort comprises of 295 guest rooms, suites and villas.DepartmentWorking within our friendly and professional Front Office Team, this position reports to the Front Office Manager.Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Providing all guests at the resort with a superior, personalised and memorable experience by greeting and assisting guests with any queries / requirements in a professional and timely manner
- Taking ownership for any guest issues or queries and working collaboratively with the rest of the Front Office team and other areas of the resort to resolve them in a timely and effective manner
- Handling telephone queries professionally and in line with resort requirements
- Ensure the guest's privacy is maintained at all times
- Ability to work flexible rosters including weekends
- A positive 'can-do' attitude
- A flexible approach with the ability to identify and successfully implement new initiatives and problem-solving solutions
- A collaborative and open communication style
- Experience of working with a Property Management System - preferably Opera
- High school certificate or equivalent qualification. A Tertiary qualification will be highly regarded
- Experience in similar role within an International standard 4 or 5 star Hotel (desirable)
