The position requires someone who is solution focused, flexible in their availability and is a team player. The role will be based at our Pavilion and Governor on Brookes complexes in Bowen Hills Qld. Expected hours are 38 - 40 per week.
We are looking for a Property Manager to grow with us, who can start with us managing a small portfolio of 20 properties. The rent roll has been established and is confined only to our management right complexes in Bowen Hills. your Job will be to grow this and eventually take over the properties manged by outside agents.
This role is a GSA /Residential Property Management hybrid role and will involve:
- Reporting to your Manager daily.
- Working autonomously/with limited supervision to achieve set outcomes in the accommodation operations.
- Manage check-ins and check outs.
- Execute the setting and issuing of guest's accounts.
- Confirm bookings with guests in advance and liaise with the reservations manager where required.
- Take reservation enquiries and bookings.
- Manage data entry into RMS booking system.
- Occasional after hours phone coverage (compensation provided, as required).
- Ensure that the guest requests are completed accurately and efficiently; focusing on guest needs as a priority.
- Assist with arranging and maintaining supplies such as linen, cleaning, room amenities and all other hotel supplies.
- Undertake basic maintenance, grounds and cleaning duties as required.
- Ensure that all standards are maintained, profitability is maximised, customer needs are met and adhere to all Direct Hotels policies and procedures.
- work to help develop, protect and promote the company culture and morale.
- Report to management regarding daily operations.
- Conduct room inspections and audits.
- All other duties as outlined by management.

- A current Real Estate Certificate
- A current drivers license

To be successful in role, you will have work rights in Australia, be available to work various shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays.
