Guitar Tutor to join the Music Department in a casual position beginning in Term 2, 2024.The applicants will uphold the learning and teaching values of the college, have a positive attitude, be innovative thinkers and support the musical development of students of varying ages and abilities.The successful applicant will be a key member of the Music Department, contributing to the continued growth and development of the holistic specialised music education at the college. They will also work collegially with other tutors and the Music Coordinator to organise students for concerts and events. Applicants will be required for two full days of teaching. Due to the nature of the position, the applicant will need to be need available during school hours with flexibility for lessons before and/or after school to meet the changing demands of the enrolments. Experience directing a Guitar Ensemble would an advantage.To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
