This includes improving and maintaining research performance, leading and contributing to research culture and providing consistent, effective support and guidance to academic staff and research students.The HDR Programs Officer is an integral part of the Faculty's Research team that supports effective and efficient management of FEIT Higher Degree Research programs and development of HDR supervisors. This position will play a key role in coordinating the Faculty's HDR enquiry, admissions, scholarships and training programs, as well as coordinating HDR activities between the Graduate Research School and Faculty Schools. In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work from home for 2 days with the remaining 3 days working on campus.In this role, you will:
- Support academics in the establishment and promotion of new Faculty HDR scholarships
- Monitor HDR candidate progression and scholarship recipient progress
- Evaluate, review and make system and process enhancements to improve the efficiency and quality of the Faculty's HDR management
- Coordinate the implementation of the Faculty's HDR-related communication strategy, including web content and induction material
- Coordinate the Faculty's HDR enquiry, admissions, scholarships and training programs, as well as HDR activities that support broader researcher development
