Our wonderful Head Chef has been with us for over 8 years in total (over our 2 venues), and will be moving on in late July.

All our senior kitchen team are on salaries of 42-45 hours a week, any more than that goes straight to ‘time in lieu’. (to be taken on a regular basis)

3 Reasons why this might NOT be the kind of job for you;

1. We don't have any gaming to subsidise everything else, we have to be better F&B operators, be smart and care about what we do.
2. This is not a ‘Beginners’ role, we get busy, you need to be organised, capable, motivated and be able to keep others motivated.
3. It's not a formula based, head office driven, hotel, you have to be pro-active, and make things happen. 

Skills and commitment that we need: 

• Demonstrated experience in managing a fast paced and flexible kitchen
• Ability to create/manage weekly specials, rostering, forecasting and COGS
• Career minded with good leadership skills, you need to be capable & keen to grow and develop other people too.
• Able to develop and maintain operational procedures…you'll need to be able to write a procedure & follow thru. You must be computer literate.

   What will you look like? How about someone who has:

• Strong customer & staff focus and a passion for our crazy industry
• Consistently high customer service standards
• Commitment to your own progressand that of your team.
• Strong compliance focus, …we're boring like that, let's keep our kitchen super clean, food well stored, temperatures checked etc.
• Desire and ability to engage with our local community
• Good communication (fluent english too) and leadership skills.
• Well-rounded, operational experience within the hospitality industry
• Strong problem-solving skills and lateral thinking.
• Ability to take curve balls in your stride.
• Reliable vehicle and current drivers licence.
