Head Chef - The Blue Swimmer
About the business and the role
We need a hardworking Head Chef to continue to build the restaurant into its 8th year. We have an epic little restaurant looking out over 7 mile beach in Gerroa and cater to locals and tourists alike. We want somebody who is excited about food and cooking and can bring their skills and experience to our kitchen team. We want a leader who can work with local suppliers and staff to put out a quality, sustainable offering.
You will bring to the role:
- Outstanding teamwork

- Creating and executing new dishes
- Ordering and stocktaking product and liaising with suppliers
- Innovation - proven experience of genuinely implementing new ideas
- Managing Roster efficiently & effectively
- WHS & Food Safety management
Skills and experience
Ideally you will have at least 5 + years in a cooking in a high volume restaurant or café, managing a kitchen team and putting out consistent, quality food across ala carte & functions.
