Job Description
The Commercial function ensures that performance against contractual requirements is maintained between Adecco and the Commonwealth, and Adecco and its subcontractors.
The Head of Commercial is responsible for ensuring the contractual relationship with the Commonwealth and subcontractors continuously meets the expectations and requirements of the Contact. They will drive the compliant and commercially beneficial procurement and delivery of goods, services and assets for the Recruiting Services Contract, ensuring adherence with legal and contractual requirements.
The role is accountable for delivering transformation and daily business operations of the Function within the required contractual obligations, KPIs, timelines and standards.
You will:
- Oversee the delivery of the contract position of Adecco, ensuring it is maintained in line with expectations and positioned and/or improved in line with client and business expectations.
- Establish position as key point of contact for Adecco for all contractual and performance matters with the Commonwealth and subcontractors.
- Develop, manage and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed expectations of Defence and the Adecco DFR contract.
- Apply a commercial lens to all change and transformation activities, identifying opportunities for improving or furthering the commercial position of Adecco DFR.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Adecco and the Commonwealth’s Performance Management Framework, including what is required of the subcontractor, ensuring where risks of non-achievement or breaches occur, that the appropriate action is taken.
- Create, implement and execute a framework for reporting on performance (including subcontractors) against the PMF and contractual requirements, providing these on a regular basis to Adecco key stakeholders and executives, and other stakeholders where required.

- Proven senior-level leader with demonstrated success leading high-performing, multi-faceted teams in commercial management.
- Extensive leadership, team management and executive stakeholder management experience.
- Strategic planning skills; proven experience establishing robust governance, compliance and reporting frameworks.
- Well established ability to build business partnerships, influence and participate in senior management decisions.
- Analytical skills focused on business strategy, business case development, financial statements, problem-solving, and continuous process improvement.
- Trusted advisor who is commercially astute and has a proven track record of driving business outcomes and contributing to transformational change initiatives.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in related discipline such as law, business, management, contract or project management, communications and/ or equivalent knowledge and experience
