AddressThe Head of Commercial Finance reports directly to the CFO providing financial leadership and support to our brands. As a seasoned leader, with your team you will partner with the business to drive value creation.
The key accountabilities of the role include:
- Leadership of effective brand performance management - Driving achievement of brand financial targets and strategy by effective reporting, analysis and insights including benchmarking across brands.
- Driving effective business partnering within the Commercial Finance team to identify brand performance risks and mitigation and value creation opportunities.
- Providing financial leadership of short-term and medium-term financial budgeting and planning for brands ensuring effective financial modelling to reflect brand strategy and growth targets.
- Providing financial leadership and commercial guidance for key brand strategic initiatives including oversight of business case development and other financial analysis as required.
- Providing financial leadership to ensure core merchandise principles are applied consistently across brands to drive optimum stock levels in line with trading patterns.
- Leadership & mentorship of Commercial Finance team to ensure an effective and consistent business partnering approach across all brand and channel stakeholders.
We are looking for a commercial thinker and leader who is comfortable to take a hands on approach, be across the detail without getting stuck in it. With a strong ability to influence across all levels of the business, partnered with the below;
- Extensive Commercial Finance business partnering experience in a complex environment.
- Proven experience in leading a team
