About the Role

Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager Trade and Development you will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for GPC, through the optimisation of revenue streams and enhancing profitability.

You will lead a small team across Supply Chain Solutions and Revenue Management and be responsible for conducting in-depth market analysis, financial modelling, and forecasting, as well as collaborating with various departments to align commercial plans with operational capabilities and corporate objectives. You will support the Head of Sales and Head of Property to influence contract negotiation through data analysis and guidance on pricing. Pricing strategy and yield management will be a key part of this role to ensure best value for GPC will be critical and regular engagement with internal functions to evaluate potential growth opportunities, partnerships and investments will ensure the delivery of GPC's long-term vision.

As a senior leader within the function, you will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships across all internal stakeholders taking a cross functional approach within the organisation. Ensuring a results-driven approach and achieving strategic objectives will heavily rely on your capacity to cultivate teamwork and collaboration amongst team members to better deliver value to the customer and across the organisation.

About You

Demonstrating in depth experience in Commercial Planning or supply chain excellence from the transport / logistics or similar industry, you will be seeking a role that you can really make your own and continue to add value. Your expertise in analytical and financial modelling and problem-solving skills will enable you to skilfully draw insights from complex data sets to inform commercial decisions across the organisation. You will be data driven and able to utilise your market intelligence to develop reports to inform the Executive team on future business needs.

You will build strong internal stakeholder relations, be able to work collaboratively in a cross functional environment and be able to articulate your message to a range of diverse stakeholders within the organisation. With proven experience leading a high-performance culture across your team, you will take a mentoring approach to your role to ensure you develop a collaborative and respectful team culture environment.

A degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Supply Chain or related discipline is highly desirable for this role.
