About the Role
As the HOD International & Languages you will have demonstrated the capacity to lead and be responsible for:
- Leading the International Program by complying with EQI policies and procedures to provide quality outcomes for all International students. This includes Study Abroad, Graduate and Study Tour students.
- Understanding the legislation and policies that impact on International students and host families.
- Working closely with the Home Stay coordinator to form and maintain partnerships with International students, host parents, other government agencies, and community groups to provide quality outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Maintain the long-term sister school arrangements Burnside SHS already has in place.
- Leading the Languages faculty to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Manage the human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources of the curriculum areas or whole school program to achieve the strategic direction of the school.
