Our client, a private equity backed and highly innovative technology business, is embarking on an exciting period of international business growth and expansion.mThey are now seeking a talented Head of Finance to join their business, in a highly sought after role.
The Role
As the Head of Finance, you will report directly to the CEO and will primarily be responsible for the management of the groups finance team, whilst providing financial support across key commercial and expansion activities. Other key responsibilities will include:
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (CA preferred but CPA, CIMA or equivalent considered) with a strong academic record and experience leading successful finance teams with successful corporate groups. Whilst not a pre-requisite, any experience with fast growing or emerging technology groups would be highly advantageous. You will be strong technically, with a sound commercial acumen, experience in strategic activities and expertise in funding strategies and the investment process. Outstanding career development exists, as this role will evolve into a CFO position, as our client continues its impressive business growth.

The Role

- Providing the CEO and Chief Commercial Officer with finance and commercial support
- Management of the finance team and oversight of the financial reporting process;
- Running the annual audit process;
- Maintaining the budgeting and forecasting process, including the preparation of meaningful, insightful commentary to aid business decision making;
- Liaising with external tax advisors on tax related matters;
- Understanding long term financial implications of transactions and advising on transaction structuring;
- Involvement in investments and projects that require input from a finance perspective;
- Working with the business to develop reporting systems, finance procedures and best practice
