Götzinger Smallgoods has enjoyed impressive year on year growth since establishing, particularly in recent years.  We have grown our manufacturing capability by a significant expansion of our Factory in 2022, as well as our Team, our range and importantly our customers.

As we grow, our need for quality, proactive and prospective financial management and governance increases.  To be a great food manufacturer we need to be a great managed business and this role of Head of Finance is a critical and central part to that journey.

The Role:

Our Head of Finance will:

• Work cohesively and proactively with our Directors and Senior Leadership Team to continue to grow Götzingers.
• Be primarily responsible for delivering the financial performance objectives across all areas of the business.
• To be a single source of knowledge and leadership of the Finance function to proactively support growth and financial strength.

Professional Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Economics, Business, Management or similar. 
• CPA/CA/MBA preferred. 
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a  Finance leadership role, preferably in food manufacturing environment. 
• Experience in:
  • Producing quality, accurate and timely financial and management reporting, both historical and forecast.
  • Thorough working knowledge in ERP Systems.
  • Optimising systems and procedures to deliver superior financial management outcomes and/or organisational efficiencies.
  • Developing and managing the Finance Team to deliver outstanding support for the business.
  • Contract vetting, negotiations and finalisation.
  • Project management skills to implement change efficiently and successfully to financial systems, whilst building data reconnaissance to inform decision making.
