The Manager of Compliance and Risk will lead a centralized process for reporting Risk & Compliance information from various sources, this will provide a comprehensive view to executive management of Risk exposure.
It is important to support the business across Compliance and Risk whilst taking a balanced commercial view and provide accordingly.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies across the department.
- Responsible for maintaining and developing appropriate risk management frameworks and associated mitigation actions.
- Delivering ongoing focus workshops across key risk areas and issues.
- Seek necessary advise from Legal Counsel, HR and Compliance where appropriate.
- Understanding the governance and risk in relation to the role and keeping up to date with regulatory changes in appropriate jurisdictions.
- Understand and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.
- Embed the Group’s values and Code of Conduct to ensure adherence with the highest standards of ethics.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations, as part of the culture.
- Bring relevant financial services industry experience, such as audit, compliance and/or other risk related disciplines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current thinking and practice around the areas of Risk and Compliance.
- Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and Compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate and work effectively as part of a leadership team and with a broad cross section of management/leadership from a range of functional areas.
