My client is a prominent distributor within the retail / FMCG industry located on the Brisbane Southside.
The opportunity has arisen for a Merchandise / Category assistant to support the category managers with merchandise, product details, catalogues and promotional reporting. The successful applicant will be responsible for the achievement of targets, timelines and the loading of detailed product information that assists the category managers with their KPI's.
This person could be a recent graduate (although a degree is not essential) with some experience in retail or the supplier side and has the ambition to grow into a category manager role in the next few years. We are looking for candidates with the drive to succeed, learn and develop.
Responsibilities:
Print advertising, catalogues, POS
Supplier data maintenance
Catalogues
Compliance
Category managers support
New SKU creation
Skills & Experience:
Retail, P&C, FMCG or Pharmacy or similar
Sales administration or internal sales / customer service background could be considered
Category assistant or assistant buyer would be very suitable
Administration skills
MS office level 2 or higher
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to use your findings to implement beneficial solutions.
