The Role
The purpose of the Head of Fund Reporting (Super) is to ensure that timely and accurate financial control and external reporting requirements of Insignia Financial Super Funds are delivered to management and regulators within agreed timeframes and conform to best practice.
The role covers superannuation entities (“funds”) under Insignia Financial Limited RSEs including but not limited to IOOF Investment Management Limited, Oasis Funds Management Limited, OnePath Custodians Pty Limited, and NULIS Nominees Australia Limited.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial reporting obligations and regulatory delivery of entities
- Provide sound financial support and insights to enable critical business decisions
- Play a role in the formulation of Finance strategy
- Manage the external auditor relationship and ensure Funds are compliant with regulatory reporting and accounting standards
- Co-present results of products to Boards
- Recruitment, training, mentoring and development of employees
- Oversee the financial control and reporting aspect of Funds
- Manage and track accounting information
- Review all formal internal policies and procedures
- Assist with trust reporting and governance
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:
- Degree and secondary qualification
- CA/CPA qualification (or similar)
- Understanding of accounting and tax principles affecting the wealth industry
- Planning, time management, and organisational skills
- Ability to support business strategy and objectives
- Experience in superannuation, funds management, and/or the financial services industry
