Christ Church Grammar School is a non-selective school for boys (PK-12) in Claremont, Perth, Australia. The academic performance of Christ Church boys' consistently places graduates amongst the top schools in Australia.

The School is seeking to appoint a dynamic leader, excellent administrator and exemplary teacher to join the School in Term 3, 2024.

A Head of House in the Senior School has the responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of boys within a House. Oversight of the health, happiness and proper physical, intellectual, emotional, social and behavioural development of each boy is a key element of this role.

Whilst certain duties are formally rostered, the rhythm of life for the Head of House is not always regular.  Pastoral care in a school environment means that there are times of complete commitment to the boys in the House, often for comparatively lengthy periods.

The Head of House is responsible for maintenance of the character and culture of the House, and in co‑operation with others, shares responsibility for the framing of overall protocols and procedures in the pastoral domain.  The Head of House is directly supported in this role by an Assistant and seven other Tutors.

It is anticipated that the successful applicant will be an inspirational leader who has the ability to develop spirit and character within a House system.  They will possess the skills to develop and promote strong relationships between staff and students, establish and maintain structures and support to perform pastoral functions while providing an ethos of community, belonging and care.  This position offers an attractive remuneration package, and the School provides exceptional professional development opportunities.
