About the role
Join our team in this new role leading our Chefs across our Residential Aged Care Facilities to bring best practices in the creation of a dining experience that nourishes our residents while tasting amazing. This role gives you the scope to bring creativity to the table with innovative, seasonal menus, and will lead, train and manage our kitchen teams to cook with flair.
About you
You'll be looking for a role that combines your love of food with an understanding how meeting nurtritional requirements can maximise wellbeing. You’ll be driven by mindset of continuous improvement, coaching others and want a role where your creativity is welcomed. Ideally you'll have experience of success in a similar health or aged care related environment, leadership experience and take pride delivering flavour. Your key experience will include:
- Qualification in Hospitality or the culinary arts.
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a health setting.
- Creative flair that makes food something to truly enjoy
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to grow a team that delivers
- The ability to multitask and thrive under pressure - something we know chefs have
- Good skills with online systems for menu planning, inventory, and scheduling
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months
- Driver's license to lead our sites located from Joondalup to Maddington
