About the Opportunity:
As the Head of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the HR functions across our diverse business operations, including retail, wholesale, and manufacturing. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the HR team in developing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent, while fostering a positive and inclusive work culture aligned with our company values.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement HR initiatives, driving organisational change.
- Employee Engagement & Retention: Develop engagement initiatives, effective onboarding, offboarding and training programs.
- Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Design and execute talent acquisition and retention strategies.
- Policy: Drive and develop HR policy and procedures.
- Manage Employee Relations & Compliance with Employment Laws.
- Oversee Performance Management Processes: Develop systems and support management of disciplinary disputes.
- Inspire & Lead HR Team: Promote continuous learning and development within the HR team.

You are a passionate people leader with a minimum of 3 years in a HR leadership role with proven experience in a multi-sector environment, including retail and manufacturing.
In addition, you have experience with:
- Change Management: Proficiency in leading organisational change initiatives while minimising disruption and maximising employee engagement.
- Talent Management: Expertise in designing and implementing talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to ensure a robust pipeline of skilled employees.
- Employee Relations: Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations across Retail & Manufacturing, with the ability to effectively manage employee relations issues and promote a positive work environment.
- Performance Management: Experience in developing and implementing performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback mechanisms, and performance evaluations.
- Workplace Safety: Design, review, and implement safety processes (including coordination with external agencies).
