About The Opportunity
This is a rare 3-6 month parental leave replacement role and we are approaching one year into our business transformation and growth strategy. This means you will be responsible for continuing the work to develop our Brand DNA, enhance our brand awareness in the market, lead a capable team and contribute to our 5-year strategy and business objectives.
Reporting to the CEO, this is an exciting opportunity to work with an industry expert and inspirational leader.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Creating and implementing a robust marketing strategy aligned with the overall business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment to achieve targets.
- Oversee the conceptualization, execution, and analysis of Marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and experiential channels.
- Maintain and strengthen brand positioning through effective messaging, content creation, and visual identity across all touchpoints.
- Conduct market research, analyse consumer behaviour, and identify emerging trends to adapt strategies for optimal market penetration.
- Manage marketing budgets effectively and establish KPI’s to measure campaign performance, ensuring ROI and continual optimization to align with overall business P&L.
- Collaborate with sales, retail, eCommerce, product development, and other departments to align marketing efforts with broader business initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role within the retail industry.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Proficiency in market research, analytic tools, and CRM systems.
