The Role

Implement an integrated marketing strategy for Politix, ensuring that the brand is represented in a way which upholds our brand values, drives customer acquisition & retention and maximizes immediate and future sales opportunities.

Reporting to the General Manager and part of the Senior Leadership Team, this role leads the marketing and brand strategy across all consumer touch points including managing creative direction and production, media, social media, Public Relations (inc. influencer outreach and events), local area marketing, loyalty and eDM strategy alongside supporting the delivery of the brand growth strategy (inc. wholesale/online/international markets).

 **This opportunity is a 12 month parental leave contract**

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of the strategic growth plan, as a member of the Politix leadership Team
  • Work with the Politix leadership team to develop and embed a clear and measurable customer facing brand strategy that reflects the brand platform and grows market share
  • Develop, and manage the marketing budget to achieve sales and brand growth within budgeted parameters.
  • Be a professional and inspiring spokesperson for the brand, both with internal & external parties.
  • Deliver an innovative marketing & PR strategy & execution plan that drives brand awareness and equity including full marketing channel mix 
  • Communicate the Marketing Strategy and Plan to all stakeholders within the company at regular intervals
  • Create and develop retail marketing activities/initiatives and highlights to improve the customer experience and drive people into the stores/online
  • Work with the planning & marketing team to build and execute a trade plan that supports full price sell through meeting all necessary regulations for execution
  • Oversee the internal and external creative teams in the production of all campaign, digital and in-store assets
  • Oversee the internal graphics studio in the roll-out of assets and messaging for all channels in a way that represents a consistent and elevated visual style
  • Oversee the content strategy to bring the Politix brand values to life across a range of channels but most notably; social media, website (style advice) and paid content partnerships
  • Execute a best-in-class social media strategy (organic) ) including cross-channel strategy (ie: FB, IG, Tik Tok) to grow followers and increase engagement
  • Develop and oversee the public relations strategy for targeted media and markets to generate maximum earned media potential
  • Develop and manage influencer outreach programmes to extend brand messaging to relevant audiences inc of Brand Ambassador management
  • Develop and execute an innovative eventing strategy to support the marketing plan

The Ideal Candidate has

  • Proven experience operating at a senior marketing/ecommerce/digital level, leading and coaching a team
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to think creatively and commercially with proven experience in designing, implementing and reviewing brand strategies and campaigns that have delivered the desired outcomes within defined budgets
  • Results orientated approach with an in-depth understanding of the national and international retailing landscapes
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team
  • Experienced in driving a marketing strategy for a consumer business or brand
