Our client is a full-service production company who produce a diverse range of projects, including nationwide TV commercial, award-winning online campaigns and short films featured in festivals worldwide. Based in Glebe, Sydney, they are looking for a Head of New Business to lead the brand’s introduction, growing their roster of directors and engaging advertising agencies in Sydney and beyond.
Our client is seeking a Head of New Business to spearhead their brand introduction, including their growing roster of directors, to advertising agencies in Sydney and beyond.
Your Responsibilities:
Establish new relationships with agencies and direct clients through group and one-on-one screenings and meetings
Maintain ongoing relationships with agencies and direct clients
Respond to all incoming business inquiries, including receiving briefs, preparing quotes and treatments, and managing director inquiries
Create and maintain a database of agencies and direct clients for effective marketing
Manage a monthly marketing budget for networking and PR purposes, including events for clients and the agency
Assist with the expansion of the agency into new territories
Manage the company online LinkedIn presence
Attend shoots to maintain relationships with their clients
Requirements:
You are a passionate and tenacious salesperson with 5+ years of experience, ideally in B2B
Experience within the advertising and/or film industry is not necessary but is a bonus
Confidence and experience in pitching and presenting
Excellent interpersonal skills to forge and maintain relationships with clients
Ability to build a thorough knowledge of the advertising industry and key individuals within it
Autonomy in managing calendars and marketing budgets
Organised and able to meet deadlines
Competency in managing spreadsheets/databases
