The Far East Company Pty Ltd, is seeking a dynamic Head of Operations, to optimise and drive operational excellence.
Managing and developing the teams at the 4 current Restaurants, and approximate 160 staff, that make up the group;
Bang Bang Byron Bay (Byron Bay est 2018)
Bang Bang Noosa (Noosa est 2020)
Capiche Restaurant (East Ballina est 2022)
Hutong Harrys (Byron Bay est 2023)
Through the implementation of proven business processes and strategies to enhance performance in all venues. Reporting on each venue’s performance and identifying any areas of success or in need of improvement. In line with the company vision, creating a culture that strengthens operational efficiency and generates revenue. All this will require you to be in a very hands on role. Rotating through the venues and being in service 5 nights a week.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, this role will be primarily based in the Northern Rivers area onsite in the 3 venues in that region. With one week a month spent onsite in the Noosa Heads location.
About You:
You bring experience overseeing the management teams of multiple hospitality venues, building collaborative and high performing teams. With a focus on continuous improvement, you have a reputation for achieving change and efficiency gains whilst maintaining relationships and engaging staff.
As the Head of Operations, you are passionate about hospitality with 5+ years of Senior Management experience. Elevated dining experience will be essential.
Project management experience and/or tertiary qualifications will be advantageous in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse internal operations and highlight areas of process enhancement
- Create actionable strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term goals devised in consultation with company directors.
- Directly oversee operations, through effective and productive supervision, coaching and leadership of each Restaurant Management team.
- Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports.
- Maintain and build trusted relationships with suppliers
- Implement best practices for inventory control.
- Oversee facilities management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OH&S standards, RSA and food safety regulations
- With more venues in the pipeline, succession planning in place for all key positions will be required.
Remuneration – Depending on experience Annual Package on offer ranges from $130k-$150k
