AddressWe are looking for a Medical receptionist in a casual position, who is available to work 3-4 days a week with flexible hours. They need to be well presented, enthusiastic with a happy and friendly disposition.
A team Player who is able to multitask and time manage. Who is punctual, Honest and a quick learner.
Having previous experience in Medical Reception is a must and working with the software Medical Director and Prac soft is an advantage. We are willing to give extra training to the right candidate.
The responsibilities and duties include
- Open & Close the clinic.
- Greet patients and other callers at the practice with a courteous and an efficient manner.
- Answer the phone & schedule appointments.
- Receive and convey messages.
- Liaise with patients and their families
- Liaise with doctors, staff and other health professionals
- Issue patient invoices, bill receipts & rebate medicare.
- To exercise Confidentiality and respect the privacy of all.
- Ensure registration forms and patient information is correct and updated.
- Fax, email and scan documents
- Assist Doctors and nurses by making phone calls, photocopying as requested when necessary.
