Position summary
TheHead of Sales is responsible for driving UV disinfection technology sales to key clients in Australia and to international export markets.
Critical for success is the ability to sell UV disinfection solutions both directly and through distribution channels, within an environment heavily regulated by health authorities and water utilities.
You will have full support from the existing Directors and will be given the opportunity to define and execute the companies sales strategy. The position will ideally be based in Sydney, however we are open to speaking to candidates across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieving gross profit targets by negotiating sales of UV disinfection products to both Australian and international partners
- Lead and support the current Sales team to meet their revenue goals
- Manage the Pre-Sales team of UV Application Engineers
- Manage a pipeline of qualified prospects in company CRM, progress opportunities through company sales cycle from needs analysis to contract negotiation
- Oversee client interactions through regulatory approvals for UV system installation
- Coordinate with Sales Team on proposals, solution designs and documentation
- Engage with diverse prospects, clients, colleagues and partners
About you
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for water technologies and solutions
- Minimum 5 years experience in a business development or sales management role, ideally within the water industry.
- Proven skills in executing a defined sales process from lead qualification to solution delivery
