This is a newly created role to strategically manage our growth strategy and sales managers across Australia. It is an ambitious strategy based on organic growth, growing accounts gained from acquisitions by upselling and price adjustments, and moving into new verticals within our industry. We need a strategic, highly competitive, down to earth person focused on deeds, not words. You will manage eight sales managers across Australia.
We want a street smart operations person, who can execute an ambitious sales strategy. We are looking for someone with strong business acumen, but is also happy to get their hands dirty. We want someone with a sound logistics and mathematical mind, but this might have originated at the start of your career in driving cabs or doing delivery runs. Experience in the transport industry, especially in the courier and taxi truck, specialised logistics and intra and interstate markets, is a distinct advantage.
It might be hard for us to find all of these characteristics in the one person, but for the right person, we are willing to work with you, train you and support you to develop into the role.
We know what we want to do, we know how to get there, we have a great sales managers already in place – we just need someone to execute this strategy.
Renumeration will be offered in response to your experience and expertise, but as a guide will be $200,000, plus superannuation, car allowance, commissions, and bonuses – we expect that will lead to over $350K plus in your full package.
