About the Role
Are you passionate about empowering students with diverse learning needs? Do you thrive on making a positive impact in education? Look no further! We’re seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Head Teacher, Diversity to join our vibrant team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Champion Inclusion: Drive an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued
- Specialist Teaching: Tailor your approach to meet unique student requirements
- Support Services: Provide essential non-teaching support, from personalised study plans to accessible resources
- Collaboration: Work closely with educators, counsellors, and administrators
- Pre & Post Enrolment: Ensure smooth transitions for potential students, ongoing guidance for success
- Individual Advocate: Ensure reasonable adjustments for student excellence
You will also be performing teaching duties at the Stage 6 level of the HSC, ensuring optimal student outcomes!
About You
We’re seeking a Stage 6 teacher who thrives in a dynamic educational environment and is committed to student advocacy.
What We’re Looking For:
- Tertiary teaching qualifications and experience teaching at Stage 6 HSC level
- Innovation within an educational context, your creative approach sets you apart
- Support a diverse range of students from welfare to learning, you’re dedicated to their success
- Successfully deliver programs, collaborating with staff and students alike
- Shine in communication and interpersonal skills. Building relationships comes naturally
- Managing resources and planning are second nature. Your strong administrative skills keep things running smoothly
- You’re well-versed in TAFE NSW, Department of Education, and New South Wales Education Standards Authority policies and procedures
- Proficiency in NCCD procedures, reporting and documentation as well as experience in NESA special provisions for stage 6 HSC, and VET courses is required.
