Selection CriteriaApplicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position. In addition to the general selection criteria,- Proven exemplary teaching practice and ability to lead and supervise their faculty in continual improvement that fosters student engagement and promotes positive learning experiences, across the Mathematics curriculum including Extension 1 and 2.
- Ability to lead the development and implementation of curriculum reform to develop innovative, high-quality teaching and learning programs and assessment that develop continuity of learning for all students.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in building positive faculty relationships and providing strong educational leadership focused on creating a safe space for a diverse range of students to engage in their learning and to maintain high expectations.
- Capacity to work collaboratively with the executive team to lead, manage and implement whole school processes and initiatives that support the school’s strategic directions to improve student learning outcomes.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
