A leading civil contractor are looking for a experienced heath and Safety Advisor/Manager to join a growing team in Sydney

One of Sydney's most respected Civil contractors are looking for a experienced Health and Safety Advisor/Manager to join the team in Sydney.
You will need to have a energetic attitude towards Health and Safety and have a keen eye when to identifying possible issues within the Health and Safety space as well as a ability to restructure systems and the way we work when it comes to Health and Safety
The Benefits

The Role:

• Ensures subcontractors work methods and H&S systems are reviewed prior to work commencement and regularly monitored
• Provide technical HSE advice and support to Subcontractors and suppliers
• Report on Subcontractor HSE performance on site and make recommendations for improvements
• Review Subcontractor JHA/SWMS and make recommendations for improvements
• Conduct internal HSE audits
• Write basic HSE management plans and Project Risk Registers
• Ensures Project teams are adequately trained to perform their H&S responsibilities and provide ongoing coaching

The Requirements:

• Holds valid ‘C’ class drivers licence
• Holds a valid Construction Safety Awareness Card
• Formal qualification in First Aid
• Occupational Health & Safety qualification or equivalent
• Enterprise Resource Planning Software (ERP)
• Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
